Our Team

Lawrcon Electric and Machining Corp is a privately owned business and is located at 1165 Squires Beach Road in Pickering, Ontario. We are a fully equipped electrical service company with our main focus being electric motor and generator rewinding.

Our Management has dedicated their working lives to the electric motor industry and offer a level of experience that is difficult to match in the industry.

Larry Cordes - Larry started in the electric motor business as a salesman with a lot of ambition and aspirations of owning his own electric motor/generator repair company. With that goal accomplished it was now time to grow the company into one of the most respected electric motor service companies in Southern Ontario.

Darin Cordes - CEO - Darin followed in his father's footsteps and is taking his place in the company by beginning his electric motor career in sales. Darin looks after the Eastern part of Ontario and is now the General Manager of the company.

Fred Rymill - Fred has joined our Field Services Group as a Technician. Fred has been in the Electric Motor Service Industry for 27 years beginning in Sales. Fred is qualified in Electrical Testing and Assessment, and, will be taking an active part with our Predictive Maintenance Program.

David Tandori – A seasoned engineering technologist with 34 years of industry experience in various technical service, management and sales roles.

He brings a solid understanding of rotating electrical machinery and controls, with an emphasis on generators, David is a valued member of the Lawrcon team.

Brad DaSilva - Field service manager Licensed Millwright with over 20 years of accumulated trade experience and 15 years as a journeymen millwright specializing in the Electro Mechanical field primarily with regards to onsite removal and reinstallations, on site overhauls and troubleshooting of various types of rotating equipment. Utilizing the latest in industry leading technologies to perform tasks such as Laser alignment, on site dynamic balancing and vibration analysis, in order to provide the most precises installations possible resulting in prolonged equipment lifespans with less down town time to the customers
